Data Collection

CODEGYM does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or user data. The extension operates entirely locally within your browser and does not communicate with any external servers or third-party services.

Local Storage

CODEGYM uses your browser's local storage (localStorage) to save the following information on your device:

  • Game statistics (high scores, fastest times)
  • Game history (last 5 game attempts)
  • User preferences (favorite LED color, neon theme setting, timer enabled/disabled)

This data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted, shared, or accessed by any external parties. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or uninstalling the extension.

Third-Party Services

CODEGYM uses Google Fonts to load the "Black Ops One" font for visual styling. This is a standard web font service that does not collect personal information. The font is loaded directly from Google's CDN and is subject to Google's privacy policy.

Permissions

CODEGYM requires the "tabs" permission solely to open the game interface in a new browser tab when the extension icon is clicked. The extension does not:

  • Read or access any tab content
  • Monitor your browsing activity
  • Access any website data
  • Inject scripts into web pages
  • Track your navigation

Children's Privacy

CODEGYM does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The extension is designed to be safe for users of all ages and does not require any personal information to function.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy at any time. Any changes will be reflected in this document with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage users to review this policy periodically.
